The vision system of the machine consists of two parts: visual hardware and visual software. The camera is the sensing part of the visual system image, and the solid state camera is generally used. A solid-state camera is mainly composed of an integrated circuit, which makes a CCD array of fine and precise photosensitive components. The electrical signal output by each photosensitive detection component is proportional to the intensity of the light emitted at the corresponding position on the observed target, which is recorded as the gray value of this pixel. the pixel coordinates determine the position of the point in the image. Analog electrical signals generated by each pixel are converted to a certain value between 0~255 through the mode/number conversion and transmitted to the computer. a large amount of information obtained by the camera is microprocessed, and the processing results are displayed by the display. The camera is connected to the microprocessor, microprocessor and actuator and monitor by a communication cable.
The main factors affecting the accuracy of the visual system are the number of pixels of the camera and the optical magnification. The more pixels of the camera, the higher the accuracy; the greater the optical magnification of the image, the higher the accuracy. because the larger the optical magnification of the image, the more image elements corresponding to a given area, and thus the higher the accuracy.
